Henry Winkler will receive the prestigious Award of Excellence at the 35th annual BANFF, being held June 8-11th, 2014. Since 1982, the Award has been presented annually to an individual whose body of work in entertainment has profoundly touched the lives of audiences around the world. Past honorees of the Award include Walter Cronkite; Nigel Lythgoe; Eugene Levy; Victor Garber and William Shatner.
With over 100 dramatic programs from around the world that was submitted, the Rockie Award for Serial Drama is one of the most sought after and competitive prizes in the broadcasting community. The Rockie Awards are determined by over 250 global industry professionals who review all the entries to determine the best-of-the-best content. Below is a shortlist of the 24 programs that are being considered for nomination in the Serial Drama category. The six nominees for Serial Drama, along with our 25 other categories, will be announced on May 6, 2014.
